Shadowing & Conversation Drills

Choose your role to practice speaking. The AI will mute that role, allowing you to read the lines out loud.

Practicing ordering food is a great way to build confidence. Listen to this exchange between a Customer and a Barista.

Barista

“Hello, welcome to Daily Grind. What can I get started for you today?”

Customer

“Hi, I would like to have a large latte and a chocolate croissant, please.”

Barista

“Sure. What type of milk would you prefer? Whole milk, oat, or almond milk?”

Customer

“I will go with oat milk, please. And could you warm up the croissant?”

Barista

Absolutely, I can do that. Will that be all for you?”

Customer

“Yes, that’s everything. Can I pay by card?”

Barista

“Sure, just tap your card on the reader here. That will be seven dollars.”

Customer

Thank you. Have a good one!”
